Resilio file streaming is built on our distributed data movement platform’s progressive hydration architecture. It combines cloud reach with local storage performance, without requiring full file downloads or replicas.
When a user opens a file, only the required data blocks are streamed on demand. Files are served locally through a Resilio cache or agent, allowing applications to interact with them as if they were stored on local disk. As users save changes, Resilio Active Everywhere propagates updates to authorized endpoints based on policy, maintaining a single, current dataset without requiring full replicas everywhere.
Accessed data is intelligently cached locally to accelerate future access while minimizing storage and bandwidth usage. Any changes are written back and synchronized across peers in real time, ensuring teams always work with the most current version of the data.
